He wanted to keep them so bad he couldn't see straight even though we already had plenty of eater size cats. We got in a heated argument about it and I let them both go. Stand up for yourself. Just cause he looks like he's heman on steroids wouldn't have stopped me from telling him about himself.

His looks has nothing to do with me not saying anything kinda hard to tell but I've got him by a good bit weight wise, the guy is the best friend I have and if keeping 3 or 4 big cats each year makes him happy then so be it.

like i said before to each his own but look at pollution levels and the info on the areas around any givin area its not healthy to eat gaint fish out of som water just be safe be easy on them old giants and have a great time

Chaseasl, I am neither hotheaded, nor ignorant, as you implied in your post, but if you want to get into a mud slingin contest, I guess I would be fine with that.
I thought I was through with this thread but as I reread your post I noticed that you had called me stupid in two places. " just not quite smart enough" and "if you need any lessons on how to clean fish, just let me know."
Now that you mention it, I wouldn't mind you showing me how to clean catfish....so I can feed them to my neighbor's cat, seeing as that is all a catfish is good for. OK, maybe they are good for garden fertilizer, but not fit for "people" to eat.

LOL, Sorry, I hate cats. Of course they aren't too bad braised....or grilled...or sauteed in mushrooms, served with a nice Chardonnay!

You said cat fish aren't fit for human consumption. Now you present recipes for cats. Do Tabby's taste different from Persians?

So you don't like to eat catfish I take it, ok, but why jump all over me because we kept a few big cats to eat, it's not like I threw them in a ditch, they are in the freezer and some has already been eaten, it's not like I go keep 3 a week, we go up there like once a year to stock the freezer with catfish, next time I'm at Pickwick I'll be stripe fishing , I know that you were just voicing your opinion but there is such thing as going overboard
