Moving to Nashville Area....Advice

I live in Donelson and it remains to stay rather nice, some issues but nothing more than anywhere else. It is very close to JPP and Old Hickory. If I was to move It would be another house here or to Mt. Juliet.

Man, can't thank y'all enough. Got some good info to start with for tomorrow. Pookie, I haven't cried just yet but there will be a tear shed at some point. Mt. Juliet and Hendersonville were already on my list, so it makes me feel good to hear those suggestions.

I have done a little work there, vacationed there several times, and shot in the zone 4 skeet tournament.

Bring the wife and kids, but whatever you do, don't even think about bringing the first "no seeum" with you. Those damn things are the devil!

Chip, Hendersonville, good schools, low crime, not much traffic. Old hickory Lake, low property tax. Gas today was $2.99 a gallon.

In my many travels before settling back down in Middle Tennessee I lived in Savannah for 5 years , Graduated from High school in Savannah, attended Armstrong State and married my Wife who is from Savannah also ... So you may say we still have roots there ... By the way, H-ville, Mt. Juliet, Gallatin are all good picks ... I live just down the road in Lebanon and use to live in Gallatin ...
