And I want to hunt every weekend. No, I cannot afford Arkansas every weekend. Maybe one weekend, and if I did that, you can sure bet I would still be hunting Old Hickory every other weekend.

A timber hunt in Arkansas if you don't know public spots is minimum $250 a day guide charge, plus hotel, plus out of state license, you have minimum $600 into the weekend.

You say Alpha goes to the white River to catch trout. But do you see him go every weekend? No, he fishes local mostly because he loves it. Which is why I will hunt locally, because I love it and it is not humanly possible to hunt Arkansas every weekend. If you can....I am happy for you.

No guides, just hunting Public WMA. Tens of thousands of acres of it.

Two hunters, no blind. Just wading the timber.

More guests joined the party the next morning.

Having one of these saves a lot of steps:

I love to hunt ducks, but not enough to drive 10 hours a weekend to do so.

There has been a lot more ducks flying through mid Tn the last few years for whatever reason and I plan to take as many of em as I can.

Arkansas looks like a lot of fun, though.

Great pile of ducks there Pookie, I used to go to west TN up until just a couple of years ago, there are several public spots in which you can pile them up just like that and is only 4 hrs drive from home without having to pay an out of state license, if you hit it right it can be epic, just very hard to hunt since you have yo be there early to claim the spot, maybe some of us can get togheter for a couple of hunts, have gun will travel!
