I use an electric and you don't lose any meat. But I would love to be able to filet like this guy in the video.....pretty darn good.

He's pretty fast but I saw maybe one TN keeper (maybe) bet the rib cage of a 12" fish would slow him down. That said he has one sharp knife, notice not much sawing going on.
Pretty bad outside when you have to burn time up watching a guy clean fish. These short days are killing me.

Yeah those 15 inch slabs from Nickajack would take a little longer...still far better than me at it though.

I must still be a little dyslexic. I go from tail to head then make the cut down from behind the gills with the electric. That is just how I manage to get the best fillet. Otherwise I will butcher it.
