I pretty much fish from the bank 100% of the time, and everyday I get disgusted by all the bait containers, fishing line, etc., it is very sad.

I too fish from the bank 99% of the time. I always bring a grocery store bag for trash and ALWAYS can fill it.

When I weed eat around Shelby lake, I have to stop at least every 20 feet because my weed eater seizes up due to fishing line wrapping around the head.

Just the other day I saw a drake mallard wobbling away with one let completely tied in a knot with mono. I don't think people realize how dangerous mono and other fishing line can be to animals.

I fish the pond at Shelby park, and pick up lots of trash and clumps of line every time I am there. It's sad, but very common for public fishing areas.

Thanks for that! We walk that pond every Wednesday and completely clean up the shoreline. By Thursday, you can't even tell we did it.
