That sounds like a pretty good idea. If I wasn't headed out to center hill this weekend thats what I would do! I think the river should be calm by then. Also I haven't had much luck recently catching bass in the stones on anything but worms so if you're trying cranks or soft plastics make sure to work them deep and slow. Good luck!

You should get into some whites, I caught a few dandies below Percy dam on Wednesday. They are on there way up!

If our spring is wet enough and we get constant flows, the hybrid and striper will make random runs. It's very hit and miss, sometimes they are all over, most of the time they are nonexistent.

I got out to the river at about 4 Friday.
I walked upstream and fished every spot i could get to with a squarebill crank, no bites.
I switched to a shaky head with a squirrel tail worm, fished all the way back down to Kohls, no bites.
They started generating at 6, and i talked to a guy who said he caught a bunch of stripe burning a roostertail the other day as soon as they started generating.
I threw a bunch of different lures, but it was tough. the water was flowing pretty fast and i had limited casting with the trees.

It was a nice day though, but I feel like i am never going to catch a fish again!
