Whiz - Old picture, must have been spring time! Love the boat. In my opinion the Stratos 285 is the best boat ever in the 18-19' class. Great ride, smooth and quick. The Johnny 150 Carb is a great motor, but she likes fuel. Wish I had the 285 Magnum, I would like to have a 175 on that boat. The hull is exactly the same between the two, however the "Magnum" package was rated for the 175 and came standard with a hot foot.
Jim & Whiz - To keep that treasured bass boat looking great, use Bass Boat Saver (www.bassboatsaver.com). You can mail order or buy it at C&O Marine in Gallatin. I do a good Meguiar's Flagship Marine paste wax application in the spring and then BBS once or twice a week with a microfiber cloth after wipe downs.

That is a good tip on the wipe downs Buc. I am definitely going to check it out for my boat this year.

I have a 2000 ProCraft w/a 50hp Merc. If you've ever seen the blue & white one that Bill Dance fishes out of on some of his shows, it's identical, except smaller.
