Default Millfoil/Coontail in Old Hickory

I understand the problem that dock owners face but as a fisherman, I'm glad to see it making a comeback. When the millfoil beds were large and heavy, we had the tremendous growth in the forage base and in the predator fish base (largemouth and other species). It was always a mystery to me how it was illegal to dump any type of toxin into the lake yet a dock owner could get a permit to have chemicals sprayed into and onto the lake to kill aquatic vegatation. If I allowed the same chemicals to "run off" into the water, I can be fined.
