About as bad as the guide in Florida that got caught tying fishing line around the beaks of 2 pelicans.

And Pookie, why would you say these guys should mind their own business?
Because they aren't the police!

Who carries the number for dispatch or the local TWRA warden in their cell phone...not me. Further, they had no business following up on the action either. If they saw it and reported it, that's one thing. Choosing to encounter the 2 other fishermen was none of their business or concern. Bother me while I am fishing or hunting, you better have a badge and gun. Otherwise, I'll just tell you to go screw yourself.

I do and I've used it more than once to report when I see poachers. I don't approach them about it, I just walk away where they don't know what I'm doing and make my phone call. I don't want to mention anything about the race of the poachers though because then I'll get called racist again. TWRA never shows up but at least I do what's right.

So just to make it locally relevant if some "bass" fisherman did that to a Striper that size then what?

Hopefully the outcome is the same regardless of species or location...

Not if he pulls the gills and throws it back.

Default it is my concern

confronting someone over a crime is my concern.should we just iqnore it?i think not.exposing those losers to the world is justice in its own right.

Report it,yes. Confronting other fisherman or hunters, yer just rollin the dice on an unpredictable outcome. Some people love to gamble
