Default Old Hick 6/21

Did the same thing today, went to the same him and threw the same lure. Caught two on it then lost it in a stump and of course, it was the only one I had. So I changed to a white/black top and caught bigger fish on it but I was also fishing deeper. I focused on some ditches that were 19ft deep. Pulled a 3lber out of it and few cast later hooked one over 5, it jumped 3 times at the boat and threw the crank bait. Completely my fault, I was trying to force it in the boat. If only I’d finessed it a little longer....Oh well that’s fishing. Caught a few more and called it a day.

When you find an area like this, you have to cover it like this or even more.

Hope y’all didn’t think I was gonna give you the spot did ya?? Gotta work for this one!!! Hahaha

Fortunately for the fish, they are free and ready for someone else to catch and eat if wanted.

Well done Skillet! Im working to improve my off shore fishing. It seems covering lots of water is key.

I’m trying to up mine too. But only have 3 spots that I’ve caught fish from off shore. I need to learn to not stay on one spot for so long if it doesn’t produce.

Yes sir, I feel like he’s a good honest, and down to earth guy. I also like fluke master. They are the only two “YouTube fishermen” that I really care to watch and follow on instagram

Skillet i don’t blame you for giving exact spot but showing us what it looks like on the graph is pretty is an awesome thing to do. Helps understand what type of things to look for. Thanks

I have yet to understand what makes this area so special. I’ve fished another spot similar to this with no success whatsoever.

Nice fish skillet, I noticed the Make Every Cast Count shirt too... I totally agree, him and flukemaster definitely have the best informative videos.

Flukemaster was the first fisherman I found on YouTube. I stumbled across his videos and watched them religiously. This was the same time I got into bass fishing. I learned a lot by watching his videos. I don't know if I just grew as a fisherman and started understanding a lot more or if he changed, but now I can't even watch his videos. He just seems a little to full of himself for my liking.

I haven’t had a chance to watch anything on YouTube in a long time. All I see is what’s in social media.
