Copperhead in the garage!
Picked up a new Native Slayer Propel 10 today at HOOK1. The color is copperhead. Really looking forward to fishing out of this.....much better boat control to stay on top of those Gills and crappie.
Regards

You will wear those fish out with that machine. 3 years ago the first time I ever fished from a kayak was in a Hobie with a mirage foot Drive system. Spoiled me from the get go. Since then I have I have fished a few times out of middle-of-the-road level kayaks, but there was not much of a comparison especially on lakes and when wind was involved. I have a good friend that lives in Destin and guides out of the Hobies and the new slayer, he works at a dealer down there, he puts many hours in them off shore every week. I think you will enjoy it. Good luck.

Nice looking boat Alpha!
After the first of the year I'm looking to get a foot propelled kayak. I've narrowed it down to the Hobie Outback and Slayer 10. I'd like to hear some feedback on the Slayer once you have had it out a couple of times.

You got another beauty there.
Copper head is a very appropriate name to be used on those Lawrence County waters.

Thanks Ott....you right about those copper head. I have been lucky and avoided them in the kayak. Hope I continue to be so fortunate.

Congratulations Randy, staying on top of the fish will be no problem now no matter how strong the winds are. Fish Beware

Nice boat Randy.
Did you add to your boats or swap them out for this one?

Thanks Travis and Jeremy. Travis I traded the BG II in on the Slayer. I am really pumped about this boat. There were quite a few days last spring I stayed on the bank because of 5-10 MPH wind. That won't be the case anymore. Even though I have caught a lot of Gills at Laurel Hill the lake is too big....over 300 acres....for me to cover more than a third of it. While I don't really know yet but I think I can cover a lot more water in this kayak....my hope anyway. This should be a game changer for me. Still have the Coosa for the Caney.
Regards

Randy, from all of the congrats from everyone you must have done gooooood !! Now to me, as you know I am not a yak guy. Kayaks are like women's shoes ... "They all look alike to me" LOL !! But I know there are different rigs with different qualities, So I assume you have a Cadillac ...
Congratulations ... I am happy for you my friend ... <'TK><
