Default Huge Bluegills!!

Well they weren't huge, but the hybrids weren't cooperating so My dad and I had some fun catching some gills when he was in town visiting! Any type of fishing with my dad is the best fishing! And I got to experiment with my new camera lens! Hope you like the shots!

Yeah, those are some cool photo's, excellent action quality. I love the one where you can see the extended dorsal fin breaking the surface,

It is a NIKON D90. With the NIKON 70-200 f/2.8 lens. I am just starting to take fish pics with it. I really want to get a giant striper or muskie thrashing around in the water. So if anyone wants to take me in there boat and catch a big striper, I will take tons of photos! HAHA!

I am also going tarpon fishing in the end of May. I really want to get a jumping tarpon shot!

Great shots and I fully agree with the dad time.

Me and mine are hitting the Caney for his first exposure to trout on the fly Sunday.

Nice pics. Being a father I can tell you that your dad is loving you going fishing with him. Out of all the fishing I do that one day a week my son and I go together means more to me than anything....catching fish or not.....there are no words that can describe those trips.

Regards

My mother-in-law lives in the Sarasota area. So I will be fishing down in that area/tampa bay area over Memorial weekend. I have never fished for them! I am pumped!

Yeah, I love fishing with my dad. Especially now that he still lives in MN. I used to fish atleast once a week with him. Now it is more like just a few times a year. I really miss it. But we do all we can when he visits! My poor mother! HA!

Start following the reports here;

http://www.floridasportsman.com/regions/southwest/

Ask if anyone needs a partner to split expenses. I have done this often and you meet some great people. Tarpon and snook should be on at that time, good luck. You will crap when your first Tarpon jumps, wow.
