Old Hickory Lake fishing report 5/31/2014
I went out this morning looking for anything that would bite.I tried the shallow water first with lizard and jigs and only one bite. Then I worked five to eight foot with the #5 sexy rap and caught three catfish, four bass, three crappie and three shell crackers. The cove is full of shad and everything is in there hitting them and some of them look like 40 pounds. Beware the gar are also in there and they like any thing that moves like shad raps and they will cut you off.
