Default Cedar Creek Catfish? Anybody have any experience?

If I can remember how to start my boat, I intend to do a little fishing this evening targeting catfish. I live right between JPP and Old Hickory in Mount Juliet and am torn between which to fish. We'll be using jugs with live and cut shad.

Do any of you have experience cat fishing Cedar Creek just up-stream of the hwy 231 bridge for catfish? I've never tried there but that's one of the spots I'm considering.

Thanks and have a great weekend everyone!

Nice catch. Haven't been jug fishing but 4 or 5 times. I always throw out jugs and bass fish while waiting on cats. Have never tried liver so hard to keep on hook. You have any secrets for that.

Yes there is a secret for that...Its a little work but whenever I use liver its what I do. Before I go fishing I cut the liver in half and wrap in cheesecloth then tie it off with some thread.Simple..
