Default Old Hickory 05/19/18

Went bass fishing and the bite was slow. I didn't catch many but did get these two. Both of them came within 3 foot of each other. They were in 3 - 5 feet of water. I caught them on a green pumpkin 4" zoom dead ringer.

I was fishing in the Shute's Branch area. Both of them came off of the end of a grass bed.

Nice fish, the 4-6" worms have been the only consistent thing working for me this year...

You found the only 2 fish holding tight to cover in the whole lake this week

I would not call it tight to cover. The cover was close by but they weren't really in it. FISH #2 had blood dripping from its tail. The blood on the front deck of my boat is from this fish's tail.

Nice ones! You're having more luck than I've had the last couple of weeks!
