Default Old Hickory 4/5

I fished Old Hickory today day from 1:30 til dark. I Didn't Get One Single Bite. Not one. Zero, Zilch, Nada, No Sir Re, None, Nothing, Doughnut, Bagel, etc... Where do I pick up my prize?

Texas Rig. I don't like the sound of that. You are the one to always catch fish and give me a little hope. Last week at gville and Monday on hick we could only catch fish on deeper bluff type banks. Cranks and crawls. Go get em.

I hate days like that.. Every rod and bait I own is on the deck, and I have one heck of a mess to clean up.

Once the weather straightens up, they will show up out of no where..

I was in drakes creek Saturday and had a decent numbers day but no quality. Most came on a shakey Head with a four inch worm on it. Had a 13 15/16” bass and a 15.5” were the biggest. Rest were 10-12” 😕 It’s gonna bust wide open soon!!!

I definitely have a lot of days where I struggle to get bit, but I can almost always manage to catch a few fish. Yesterday was just one of those days that I was lost.

Ain't that the truth. By the end of the day it looked like a bomb went off in my boat.

I fished from Cairo up to Spring Creek and there was plenty of water conditions to choose from and I fished them all. There was plenty of clean water and plenty of dirty water. The water temps ranged from 55-63.
