Man that is gonna change things. It’s gonna make the shallow fishing incredible. But it’s gonna be like learning a whole new lake. I am excited on one hand but bummed on the other. I found the best fishing spot I’ve ever found last year on that lake. I won 3 or 4 tournaments off a spot last summer when the fishing was very tough. That spot was in 12-20 feet of water and now it’s gonna add 15 more feet to it. I specially remember 2 tournaments in a row where I fished for hours without a bite and pulled up to that spot and had a limit in 10 minutes both times. Almost every spotted bass I caught over 3lbs on that lake came off that spot last year. Here’s a tip for Center Hill in the summer time. If you can find something flat on that lake that sits in 10-20 feet and drops off to very deep water then you have found something special most of the time in the summer. If you find something like that and don’t catch anything then don’t write it off because spots like that are usually a timing deal. A lot of bass will sit off the sides of that stuff and suspend and every so often they will move up and feed. I won one tournament and caught every fish I weighed off that special spot. But I had fished it 3 different times in the tournament already and never had a bite. The 4th time I pulled up I caught 17lbs in 30 minutes. This was in the heat of the summer when catching a limit was sure to get a check.
