Today, I believe these coin operated compressors are supplied by 3rd parties, so now you have monies split between the business that pays the electricity, store owner and the company that services the compressor.

I remember when it used to be .25 to air up your tires... so this $1.75 is news to me. It's all about profits...
You know it is going to be expensive when can use a credit card to purchase like at WalMart.
Most take your money and give no air. Store will not refund at most places.
