I was on hold for less than a minute before someone picked up... It was a American lady, not someone from across the pond and she was very knowledgeable and very pleasant to speak with.

Speaking of Lews reels... If you guys remember when I first arrived to this site 8 mos ago, I was fighting to cast without some kind of backlash or birds nest... Now days I'm able to cast almost a full spool with only 1 internal pin set. I'm now learning how to pitch
I have had bad luck with Lew's products, I don't have any high end Lews stuff but really afraid to go high end with all the trouble I've had with their other reels and now a rod, been through 3 spinning reels, one baitcaster and the reel seat just broke on a newer rod, really weird is in the last two years every piece of equip that has broken on me has been a Lews , not sure if I'm unlucky or its a trend
