I’ve had a couple of bad experiences myself where that 30-45 seconds of “crap where’s my light” could/would of probably killed the situation before it got standing on the boat edge timing my dive kinda bad if I’d of been prepared. My solution first was a high powered head lamp to always wear but with summer sweating and fishing it always found its way off my head, so I got a high powered snake type light and wrapped it on my back light pole and tapped it so I couldn’t remove it. It’s always there and I know immediately where to go plus anybody fishing the back LOVES it...
