Default Old Hickory trolling

Went out late this morning from Shutes branch. Started out bass fishing with the water at 52 degrees, but the water had dropped and all the grass I like to fish was to exposed just to much for my liking. So I decided to troll for a while. Had 3 lines out with either a swimbait or a grub on a Blakemore swim n runner. I figured maybe a few crappie or white bass. That didn’t happen, all I caught was catfish and a few drum. I was in 20-25 FOW and the bait was from 15-20. The catfish flat hammered that bait. I kept 3, (the biggest was 9lbs) because my daughters and wife love the eat fried catfish. So I made some brownie points today for sure. Oh by the way, Plenty of birds chasing bait today.
