It almost gave the impression that the vehicle was abandoned there or something. Also the article was written weird to me. It made the recovery sound like some sort of very technical process to pull the thing out. I may be a little redneck but just hold your breathe, swim down, hook the strap on, and pull the thing out. One guy could do the whole thing. It says there was a boat trailer attached! Maybe they just decided to say screw it and go fishing. Like you, I have lots of questions.
