It's one of my best spring time baits when the conditions are right. After the spawn I will switch to a walking bait and a frog. I've caught more fish on a buzzbait this spring than probably any other bait. I was catching at least a dozen a day the last week of
FEBRUARY on a buzzbait on JPP. It's just a confidence bait for me early in the year when fish are shallow and aggressive.
