I've put in at Fred White Rd. before and fished upstream from there all the way to 65.

You need to be careful with an electric only motor. You won't want to be downstream from your landing point. The Duck can be pretty strong in places. If you hug shore you can usually make decent headway.
I've caught lots of smallish bass just casting crankbaits... lots of fun on light tackle.
