I would not recommend wading below the dam. Too many deep holes and those rocks are very slick because they're covered in algae. You'll surely fall and if you fall in a deeper hole it can be bad. Stick to wading downstream in areas where there is gravel to walk on.

My biggest Brown to date was right at 22" and I caught it wading at Happy Hollow actually. At night though, no crowds. I waded high but falling water and was very careful with my footing and it nailed a jerkbait.
