Here's a surprising fact....my boat is actually faster with the top open because it creates lift, the faster you go, therefore taking some of the weight off the boat. Not much, 1.5 MPH, but I had thought it would create drag and slow it down.

It's pretty nice to be able to get out of the sun when it's 95 degrees!
