I've had one Powell it was an ok small swimbait rod rated up to 1oz, I ended up breaking the tip and throwing it away.
I've not used Pheonix, but I've heard a lot of good out of them along with Dobyns, and B&R Outlaw.
I was looking at trying B&R Outlaw before I went to All Pro.
If you can wait a week there will be some deals to be had at the Nashville Fishing Expo at the Fairgrounds.
