The Dams that the TWRA Manager is referring to are the Earthen Dams that formed Santé Cooper and Lake Moultrie in SC in the 50's ... The rocks came in to the bays to spawn and they formed the dams which trapped them .. The national wildlife agency decided to make Stripers an inland game fish ... My Dad and I (we lived in SC at the time) Did some fine Striper fishing .. I was a youngster in my early Teens .... Memories!!! .... <'TK><
