2013 they changed the rules to no limit on blades, teaser baits, etc. The law is three hooks per line and that can be single, double or treble hooks, a treble counting as one hook.
I throw A-Rigs with thirteen willow leaf blades, two teasers and three sassy shad bodies on 1/8 oz 5/0 hooks.
Last time I went out I got to watch a 25 lb rockfish come blasting in from the side and engulf one of the swimbaits. I was retrieving slow and the rig was about 6 inches under the water, 10 feet from my rod tip.
Quite a memorable sight to say the least.
