There is an old road bed that crosses the lake so I figure that is where I need to be concentrating my efforts.
I think where I fail is in the patience category. I am always thinking... well I could catch bream over there......
The lake is 175 acres and over time has lost much of it's cover. There is a rip rap levee that drops off to the deepest part of the lake but honestly I haven't had much luck on that end.
If you are ever in the area I would be proud to show you around the lake... and learn more.

That is an offer I would take you up on...it is much appreciated. There are days when fishing for them it is an exercise in futility but when you get into them it is really good.
