Started fishing rock points and humps with a buddy from work without much luck. Decided to move on when I saw these.
Caught four spots on the first four casts. Ended up catching 8 from that school. When the bite slowed I drove around to see if they moved. Found them again and placed a drop pin.
The drop pin was about 20 yards out of our original casting range. Set back up on them and caught 5 more. This was all in about 45 minutes. They are some fun fish to catch.
I have been catching them lately on rocks and ledges. It was weird finding them on a soft flat bottom.
