My son and I use to fish down there quite often when temps were approaching or above 100. Take a small cooler full of ice and a little water and dip a towel in there to put around your neck. That kept us going for many hours in what normally for me are intolerable conditions. Even sitting out in a boat tied to the wing wall it would be miserable.
