I am losing feel in my finger tips, I bought one of these at BP and learned how to use it. I have never had knot fail, whether leader to braid or mono to mono since I began using it. There was a time when feel and eyesight were good enough, but now I need this and reading glasses:

It really does a better job than a blood knot when joining 2# leader to 2# SOS mono and makes a great fluro leader to braid connection. |
That is a pretty sweet tool. I might buy one just for my braid to co polymer knots.
