I'm all for conserving all that's natural. Not to the point that people shouldn't have access to a man made pond tho.

I could see maybe making it accessable to canoes and kayaks only and all catch & release since it's a wildlife management area. Really to properly manage that lake there should be a slot size of bass allowed to be harvested but you can't expect tree huggers and hardcore conservationists to apply laws of science to things.

This place is like 10 minutes from where I live and I'd love to kayak fish in peace and have access to that good of fishing. I agree that making it completely off limits is beyond ridiculous.
