Default Old Hickory Crappie 6/1/14

I've been out of the country the last 5 weeks for work and finally got a chance to go fishing. Hit the water about 630 am and started long lining plastics without a bite.

About 830 switched over to crankbaits and planer boards. Caught 3 bass and 1 crappie in 12-15 fow. The wind picked up and decided to switch spots.

I couldn't control the boat with the trolling motor much because of the wind so I switched to the out board. The only problem was I couldn't go below 2 mph. This ended up not being a problem at all. Caught about another 12 bass (probably spots), and 4 more crappie in 15ish fow. This was my first time with planer boards and it was a lot of fun. The chop made it tough, but was really cool trying to figure out.
