Like you, I'm still learning a lot about ledge fishing but getting better. I've only lived in TN three years after moving here from central IL. All of our lakes up there were either marshes, reclaimed strip mine land, or tiny reservoirs with no current. Every tournament I fished would be won flipping stump fields, pitching docks, or working big grass beds. I almost only fish for bass and fishing Priest pretty much felt like fishing in a fish bowl my first year down here.

After I started to figure things out, I brought my dad down here from IL to fish Old Hickory. He was pretty confused when I put the trolling motor down in the middle of the lake. We caught over 20 bass in about 10 mins with multiple doubles off of one ledge. Nothing huge, all 15-18" fish, but still fun. I just wish I had SI so I could find spots like that one a lot easier.
