Yes this subject has been tossed around for decades ... And I understand everyone for wanting to protect a creek or small stream ... It is like the Caney Fork ... If I see a Pic of the first 8 miles or the last 8 miles you won't have to tell me what body of water your on ... (by the way it is 28 miles long from the Dam) ...

Alphahawk (as well as many other members) has always stated in every report, He has ever given where he caught his fish... His Option ...

When I was guiding ... It was in the Cumberland River chain ... I did not say it was the down stream end of Deer Island for that particular day ...

So If you have a honey stream that runs a few miles from your House great .. And If you don't want to give out that information publicly on the forum, that is your purgative ,and I know some, PM special friends .. Great .. ... ... But helpful info for the youngster and the oldster might give them a flame to search out to our great sport of Fishing or rekindle it ... Especially if they might live near the area that was posted ...

Examples .. If the youth or Senior reads the post .. Of such a great day that Gook had ... The youngster is pumped especially if he is learning how to Fly fish and the Senior is dusting of the dust from his 50 year old bamboo Orvis ..

So I guess what I am saying is That a little info like .. " a tributary off of the Cumberland in Smith and DeKalb county "... "The Duck River Water shed" ... or .. something like " Did good in a little stream in Western Davidson County Today" ... This will excite the ones who want to search out and learn or refresh so they can have as good of a day as you had ... <'TK><
