75-80 degrees is when I start trolling cranks.
I caught a few on cranks last week when the water was 73-74, a little coolish yet.
The few I did catch were 12-14 inchers.

Thanks for posting this info Merv!, I never thought this style of fishing could be tracked by water temps, but I recon it is, I figure they would scatter once they are finished with the spawn regardless of water temp or time of year, we will give them a shot this weekend pulling some bandits
