Had to fight some wind today but had a good day. I caught 51 Gills.....all between 8-9 inches. Got 8 Smallies all 11-12 inches.....a few spots at 10 inches or less and a 25 inch buffalo. All fish caught on a Purple Redemption Trout Magnet using 2# test SOS line. Hoping soon to have a 60-70 fish day of those 10-11 inch Smallies. That size Smallie is probably the most fun one can have on a UL using 2# test. The buffalo took a while to get in. It made 4 big runs each time it saw me and the net......that SOS line is some tough stuff.
