Default Rough Day

I'm sure everybody has these type of days but it was definitely the first one for the year.

Put in at Fate Sanders and realize that I left both the head units to my humminbirds on the table at home, so no depth or gps. Put in and run out to the spot. So stinking windy I can barely keep my lines from tangling up. Drag around for maybe an hour and catch 2 shorts. Go to start up and move and somethings up with the motor. With idle fine and rev up fine out of gear, but the minute I put it in gear, it either dies or bogs down and shakes horribly. So I limp back to the dock. It crazy windy and the outboard wont stay running in gear long enough so I jump up on the trolling motor to maneuver around in the marina. Go to take my home made rod holder down to stow the trolling motor, hit the wrong pedal and it tosses me and I spin the rod holder straight off into the drink, goodbye! Finally get the boat on the trailer and head home after a miserable 2 two hours! If someone fishes out a 4 rod holder off the ramp at Fate Sanders, its mine.

a little funny after I read it.
