I have fished OH for the last few years. I usually can at least catch small bass but this year is a lot different with this cold. Typically my goto bait is a jerk bait or shallow crank bait. No bites in the last week or so. There is so many shad dying that all a fish has to do is open their mouth and something is going to fall in it right now. I was creel checked yesterday while on the lake and the guy told me no one was catching much at all on OH. Over the next 2 weeks with the warmer weather the bite will pick up considerably i think. I fish almost everyday since I am retired so give me a PM if you have some questions. Also if you fish tourney there are a few clubs out here to fish in. OHPPBT is a good club with a new person running it. We had issues in years past but that got fixed and now it is a pretty drama free club. We fish OH and PP on Saturdays. Also Heartland Anglers fishes OH and launches out of flippers on Sundays. Not a bad club i fished it in the past.
