I have probably the lowest catch rate of anybody on here this last couple of weeks. I'm just letting people know what I've tried (and so far, failed with) so they can decide maybe to try somewhere else, try different tactics or baits.

And sometimes we just throw in foolishness, you know like TK allowing SAMBOLIE to post on here. Every site needs someone they can look down on and make themselves feel better!

And you just made a good, valid post here. The last time MNfisher and I went to Center Hill, we got skunked too. The only other time I fished the Hill, I caught one fish....BUT, it was a 21 inch smallie. Big enough for a TARP certificate (which I didn't bother getting).

So post away. Let us know what is and isn't working where. We always appreciate any input from our lesser active posters.

I have so many options for fishing that I can't decide where I want to go fail next!
Center Hill can be a hard place to fish. But I tell you Merv with that sonar unit you have and that trolling motor you are ahead of most before you start. That lake has huge bluegill....but one has to find them. In my kayak if I am after them and they have moved from where I normally catch them I am lost....or having to do a ton of paddling and casting hoping to find them. That is why I really want that side scan on my kayak. That thing can spot Gill beds in 20 feet of water that can't be seen by anyone....yet it will hold big Gills. Very true in what you say in your post. Reading all the posts on here has really helped me in my fishing.
