I know as a cofounder of GABA in Gallatin (Gallatin Association of Bass Anglers in the late 70's ) when Bass Fishing Tourney's were in there infant stage ... It was very difficult to organize a great fishing organization with out a lot bumps in the road ... I think there will be bumps but you are the man that can smooth them out ...

Now as a Bass Tourney Fisherman for 2 decades .. When High Horsepower and fast boats .. setting patterns and casting 4 times a minutes was the key to success ... Now things has slowed down a bit but the adrenaline of fishing competition has not changed ... Yakes !!

And then a successful Trophy Striper Guide for almost 2 decades .. Wala !! A new dimension YAKES !!!! ...

I envy The young couples (like Jeremy and Sarah) and guys coming up in this sport that are enjoying this sport ... I guess that is why I owned a cabin on the Caney and canoed for Trout in between my Striper trips for some R@R ... The simplicity and back to nature and roots ...

BUT ... With what I see Yakes with an up to date electronics ... and all the gadgetry ???!!! I Love it !!
