I love fishing with the stuff. You can really feel your jig much better and when a fish breathes on it you can feel it. The drawbacks of it are cost. If you do your own it really cuts cost down. If you can find some 5mm beads those work great in deep water. I would use a #10 hook. I had some 5mm beads that had a #10 hook epoxied into them. They worked great but that company went out of business. I just need to get a vise and do my own if I am going to continue to use them.....but man I sure love using them.
