Take large cans of Dog food ... Buy the cheap stuff ... Drill 1/4 inch holes in the can ... Toss them in where you will be casting ... The meat will oooozzz for weeks ... This draws the bait fish ...

The can will eventually turn to mother earth ... They are tin and ferrus material and will rust big time and deteriate ...

Also like to add .. If your objective is to learn to throw a large net ...start with that net ... When you start small and move up ... You had might as well start over ... The heaiver the net the dynamics and the game changes in the way it unfolds and is delivered ... It is like flying a Cessena 152 to Landing a a Boeing B-52, in effort, strength, delivery, and retrieve ... Plus folding to recover dump and refold on a deck of a boat ... I bought a 4 foot radius net last year to do some casting from my dock ... I had might as well have been thowing a PUP TENT ... I could not get it to flair or develope the envelope ... Why ?? ... I threw a 20 foot dia for 30 years ... One or two cast is all you need ... (I always used the saltwater Menhaden mesh , Memphis Net & Twine !!)

Oh by the way... I haven't held a cast net in the last 12 years ...and I only threw 20 foot Dia. (10 foot radius) nets ... But the method I used was learned from a guide in East Tennessee Years ago ... But actually originated in the Middle east Thousands of years ago from beach casters ....You don't have to put it in your mouth and teeth ..In Fact you can launch it from between your legs ... Don't ask me to demonstrate ... I can't even hold the nets anymore ... But do some research ...
