Another day of Gills
Went back to Pickwick today. Started fishing at 10:30 AM and before I knew it it was 2:30 PM. The Gills today were a little longer and chunkier. Caught the one catfish....gave me a good tussle on 2# test. Probably caught well over 100 Gills today. It was almost every cast. Don't know if I will go back tomorrow as I need to get ready for my fishing trip out to the White River next week but it will be hard to sit at home knowing they are in there. Am hoping when I get back from Arkansas the really fat 9 inch ones will be up and should also start getting some of those 12 inch Smallies. Caught these today using Purple Redemption and the new color which I have been told will be named "Millie". It is the same color as the Killer Klatt Crappie Magnet. Am just about out of my 5mm tungsten jig heads....gonna have to find some soon. .
