I had one of my better days this morning. Caught 7 total, all within 13 to 17.5 inches being the biggest one. I marked one right under my kayak in 4 feet of water, dropped the plastic worm down and caught it, set the hook and he leaped out of the water right next to me to throw my hook back lol. That fish was as big if not bigger than the 17.5 incher but oh well. I need to make better hooksets I guess.

The biggest one was caught on a walk the dog lure. I saw some action right up against the bank and fish being busted clear out of the water. Threw the topwater in there, gave it a few jerks, and he smashed it. Everything else was caught on zoom finesse worms - purple with blue flakes (whatever that color is called) and watermelon red. I caught a couple of them blindcasting but the others were caught by marking them on the depthfinder in 10-12 feet of water and dropping it down. I'm starting to get the hang of marking these quality sized bass in deeper water.

Too bad I didn't bring the cooler with me today, could have had a few good meals!
