Good job Randy. You gotta be tough, driving all that way to fish. I should do that too, it would put me on Ky. lake around Dover, some good fishing over there.

But I have figured it out. It costs me approximately $0.33 per mile towing my boat. With my Ford Expedition towing the boat, I average 10.6 MPG. 200 miles round trip at today's gas prices would cost $64.00 (actually more since I used $3.40 for pricing and gas by me is $3.48 per gallon). Three trips a week = $192.00 x 4 weeks a month = $769.81. Neither me nor the wife could live with that kind of expenditure.

I guess I need to buy a fuel sipping car and either learn to fish from the bank or join the plastic navy!
