Today was my birthday. Bluegrass was the color today for the bobby garland baby shad. I was using my new crappie maxx reel from basspro. This was the most productive day this year. They were caught a volenteer softball park over by the army base. Really good fishing. Caught two undersized 9 inch crappie too. Yellow bass were tearing up my jig every cast, I almost went throught a whole bag of bobby garland jigs. The fishing is picking up.
