The only way you can fish it wrong if its its not rigged completely straight on the hook or jig......

I like to fish it on a 3/8th oz jig in deeper water or on a 2/0 offset bass worm hook with @ 12" leader with a swivel in shallower water....my favorite way is the "Dance and Drop" method (no weight) when the water gets over 60*.....cast it out flip the bail closed as it comes to land on the water then rip it across the surface for about 10 ft then work it s l o w l y with an occasional twitch......also in the right situation Ill throw a Fluke on a 1 oz jig....
